PageUp Recruiting and Onboarding module

The PageUp Recruiting and Onboarding module is Virginia Tech's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and includes the onboarding task progress lists for new hires. Candidates hired through PageUp can access their First-Year Task List through the Virginia Tech Job Applicant Portal.

The ATS is organized into three primary components:

•        Position Description (PD) Card
•        Job Card
•        Offer Card

Designated HR practitioners and hiring managers use these components to manage recruitment and onboarding activities efficiently. Information entered in the Job Card is used to create job advertisements, which are published to the Virginia Tech Jobs career site and Recruitment Marketing platforms.

The ATS also provides functionality for:

•      Creating and managing interview events
•      Managing applicants throughout the recruitment process
•      Supporting search committee participation and evaluations

All Virginia Tech employees hired through the PageUp recruitment process have access to their position description within the PageUp Talent Management System through the Recruitment Administration widget.

PageUp Recruiting and Onboarding Training Program

This training program is intended for HR practitioners who use PageUp for recruiting and onboarding activities, search committee participants, and workflow approvers.

The program includes four learning paths:

•        Certified Role 2 or Role 3 User
•        Certified Role 4 Mastery Level
•        Certified Search Committee Participant
•        Certified Workflow Approver

A total of 11 training modules are available and may be completed based on the user's role and system responsibilities.

Due to ongoing system enhancements and updates throughout the year, this training is recommended for all users, regardless of prior experience with PageUp.

PageUp Recruiting and Onboarding Access

All employees are automatically assigned Role 1 access in PageUp Applicant Tracking (ATS), Performance Management (PFM), and Learning Management (LMS).

If additional role permissions or secondary teams (department) access are required, select the link below to submit an access request.

Employees who separate from the university or no longer require elevated permissions should request their access be reduced to Role 1 as part of the transition or offboarding process.

• PageUp Recruiting and Onboarding Integration with Banner was April 16, 2020
• PageUp Recruiting and Onboarding Training Program Go Live date was June 9, 2023
