Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance is available to all salaried employees. Employees may purchase coverage for themselves and their family. The plan is provided by Zurich American Insurance Company.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance offers protection against certain injuries resulting from a covered accident in the course of business or pleasure on a worldwide basis, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The benefits provided are payable in addition to any other insurance which may be in effect at the time of the accident. The plan also includes a travel assistance policy.
Employees may enroll or cancel coverage at any time. The coverage can be purchased in amounts from $10,000 to $250,000. These benefits are payable in addition to other insurance in effect at the time of an accident. To enroll or make changes, submit a completed enrollment form to Human Resources. The effective date is the first of the month following receipt of the form.
