Our goal is to promote an effective employment partnership between Virginia Tech employees, management and the university. The ER staff is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM to speak with employees and managers confidentially. We serve the Virginia Tech community with professionalism, reliability and integrity.
Employee Relations provides employees and managers information on topics including personal issues affecting work performance, work environment, behavior and performance expectations, performance management, discipline, perceived unfair treatment, appeals and grievances.
Requests for mediation may be made through Employee Relations. Employee Relations staff also assist employees with voluntary referrals to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
