Certain qualifying mid-year events permit or require specific election changes with supporting documentation. Your enrollment or election change request must be submitted within 31days of the qualifying mid-year event.
Examples of Mid Year Events are:
Birth or Adoption
Marriage
Divorce
Spouse or Child gained Eligibility under their Employer’s Plan
Child Covered Under Your Plan Lost Eligibility
