Benefitted Virginia Tech employees have the opportunity to take advantage of the savings that come from Flexible Spending Accounts, that allow employees to set aside money each pay period that can be used throughout the plan year to pre-fund anticipated, eligible medical services, medical supplies and dependent care expenses normally not covered by insurance.
Virginia Tech offers eligible employees three health insurance plans to choose from to meet their unique needs and provides employees with basic life insurance coverage. A variety of optional and supplemental benefits are also available to employees.
